MAYOR JUDY M. WARD ANNOUNCES INTENTION TO SEEK 2024 RE-ELECTION

Thursday February 1, 2024 at 3:00pm at L’Ouverture Book Store on Old Turnpike

Road in Pleasantville, NJ before a crowd of supporters.

Mayor Judy M. Ward has officially declared her intention to run for re-election in

the upcoming 2024 Election for the City of Pleasantville.

Mayor Ward is poised to continue her dedication and leadership to bring forth

more positive changes to the city.

Under Mayor Ward’s 1

st term, she has gotten approval for 180 housings apartment

/ commercial for the Lakes Bay area, started construction on a $3.3 million park to

be completed summer of 2024, dredged the Marina, and completed Ansley Blvd

Streetscape. lastly we were awarded a grant for $500k that we used for Old

Turnpike Rd streetscape.

Reflecting on some of Mayor Ward’s achievements, she highlights the relationship

between the superintendent and city administration . It’s most important for the

school and city to be on the same accord.

I am excited about my 1st term as Mayor of this great city however, I have not

fulfilled my vision. With the success of my election in June I can continue with my

efforts to move the city forward.

Keeping with her open door policy, Mayor Ward makes herself available to the

residents every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm for community engagement.

Mayor Judy M. Ward has served on every city committee and is qualified, and

experienced excited and honored about continuing to serve the residents as their

Chief Public Servant.
